Cherng represents the younger generation of illustrators in Taiwan. Within a one year span, he achieved Facebook fame in 2012 due to his strong personal style, which incorporates black and white lines into his artwork. He has recently been working in branding with LINE, the Taipei Zoo propaganda videos, and Tatung Company, where he helped launch a collection of family household appliances.
