Lena "Mac" McCarthy is a painter, international muralist and street artist.

Both in the street and studio, Lena’s work imagines energetic spaces and interior realms of the human experience. Through flowing strokes and abstraction, she explores fantastical spaces, interwoven with metaphor inspired by the natural world and feminine power. Themes of duality, transformation, and resilience recur frequently, painted in sensitively selected color.

Lena approaches mural making as gift giving to the public space, using bare walls as a platform for messages of hope, and to connect communities.
