Kate Wadsworth is a freelance illustrator who has lived and traveled over land and sea. In her travels, she has cultivated a curiosity in unfamiliar cultures and a passion to record the novelties of her own life. From world culture to pop culture, documentation and storytelling, Kate enjoys working in a wide range of media, both traditional and digital. Acrylic and oil paints, markers, screen printing, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are some of her favorites.

Kate’s work has been recognized by the National Arts Program in 2011 (3rd place) and 2012 (People’s Choice). She earned her BFA in Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University with Magna Cum Laude honors. She currently resides in Kailua, Hawaii.
