Born and raised in Chicago, self-taught Jake Merten began his artistic career in Summer of 2012 after moving to Los Angeles. Since then he has grown to working in fashion design, digital design, art direction and traveling to paint large-scale murals and private installations all over the country, specializing in freehand aerosol mural work.
