This is the POW! WOW! Hawaii 2011 mural on the parking lot wall at Fresh Cafe. Located at 831 Queen Street in Honolulu. Being one of the first murals in Kaka’ako, the artists painted collaboratively with 123Klan, Meggs, Prime, Ekundayo, Wu Yue, Will Barras and Prime. Conceptually it contained a variety of imagery stemming from their diverse backgrounds. From rabbits representing the Chinese lunar calendar, chocolate characters, monsters and Queen Liliuokalani’s peacocks.
